A Safer World.

Upesy connects security companies, ambulance services, government agencies and humanitarian responders on one platform. We power the branded SOS apps your customers carry, the app your crews respond with, and the control room that links you to partners across the region.

Why Upesy

Emergency response stalls in three places.

Every minute lost between a call for help and a crew arriving traces back to the same bottlenecks. We built Upesy to clear them.

Reach

People can't get help to them fast enough.

In a crisis people hunt for numbers, wait on hold and struggle to explain where they are.

Upesy: one press sends the alert with live location, an audio clip and the person's emergency contacts.

Coordination

Responders work in silos.

Each provider sees only its own fleet and coverage map, even when a partner's unit is closer.

Upesy: a shared network where providers dispatch to each other and follow the job to the end.

Insight

Performance goes unmeasured.

Response times, coverage gaps and subscription revenue live in spreadsheets, if they are tracked at all.

Upesy: SLA timers on every incident and analytics in every module of the console.

Built for every organization that answers a call for help

Private sector

Security companies, ambulance and medical services, roadside assistance, insurers and employers protecting their staff.

Government

Public safety and disaster agencies, county emergency services, and citizen reporting channels with AI screening, translation and geocoding.

Humanitarian

Relief organizations, protection programmes and community responders who need to reach people quickly and coordinate in the field.

What we provide

One platform. Every part of the response.

The Upesy platform is the engine behind the emergency apps of providers such as G4S and GardaWorld. You choose the pieces you need and we run the technology.

White-label customer apps

Your own emergency app on Google Play and the App Store, with your name, logo and colours. Customers raise an SOS, share journeys and subscribe to your services from their phones.

  • Android and iOS, published under your brand
  • Subscriptions and payments built in
  • Alerts go straight to your control room

Responder app

An app for the crews in your patrol cars, ambulances and recovery trucks. Dispatches arrive as urgent alerts, crews update their status from the road, and the phone tracks the vehicle when it has no tracker fitted.

  • Duty, dispatch and status in one place
  • Reports and photo evidence from the scene
  • Keeps working on weak networks

Web admin console

A control room in the browser: live incidents and units, partner dispatch, control centres and zones, billing, administration, support and analytics.

Collaboration network

Providers respond for each other. When a customer is outside your coverage or needs a service you don't run, a partner takes the job and you follow it to the end.

How the network works

API integration

Connect your call centre, alarm monitoring, trackers or software to the Upesy network. Send incidents in and get status updates back.

Integrate with Upesy

How a response works

From a press of SOS to a closed incident.

  1. Alert

A customer presses SOS, or a missed Safety Check or Follow Me prompt raises one for them. Location, audio and guardians travel with it.

  2. Acknowledge

The control centre covering that zone sees the alert at once. SLA timers start counting.

  3. Dispatch

The console recommends the nearest available unit, from your own fleet or from a network partner.

  4. Respond

The crew navigates with the responder app and reports each step. Guardians and the control room stay informed.

  5. Close and learn

Reports, evidence and SLA results are kept with the incident. Analytics show where to improve.

Customer app

Your brand in every customer's pocket.

A complete emergency app published under your name. Every alert, journey and subscription reaches your control room.

Preview in your colours

SOS

One press alerts your control room with the customer's live location and a one-minute audio clip. The app calls their primary contact and alerts every guardian by push, SMS and email.

Emergency contacts

Customers choose the guardians who should hear when something goes wrong, at home or abroad. Guardians with the app see the alert live. Everyone else gets it by SMS or email.

Safety Check

Before a late walk, a first meeting or a site visit, the customer sets a timer. If they don't check in when it runs out, the app raises an SOS to the guardians they picked and, for premium members, to your control room.

Follow Me

Customers share a journey live with the guardians they pick. If they leave the route or miss a check-in prompt, the app raises an SOS to those guardians and, for premium members, to your control room. One tap turns the trip into an SOS at any time.

Newsfeed

Post safety alerts, advisories and updates to your customers, with photos and video, targeted by country. Customers can share a post with friends and family through a link.

Premium Services

Customers subscribe in the app, on their own or through their employer. They pay by mobile money such as M-PESA, Airtel Money and MTN MoMo, by credit or debit card, or by bank transfer. Premium members get a response from your teams, and a free trial lets new users try it first.

Responder app

Built for the crew in the vehicle.

Your field teams get their own app in your brand. It turns every patrol car, ambulance and recovery truck into a connected unit that your control room can see and dispatch.

  • On duty with one switch

Crews start a shift on their assigned unit, and the control room sees who is available.

  • Dispatches that get through

New jobs arrive as urgent alerts that cut through a locked screen.

  • Status from the road

Accepted, en route, on scene, completed. Each step reaches the control room as it happens.

  • Navigation in one tap

The route to the caller opens in the crew's maps app.

  • The phone as a tracker

Units without a vehicle tracker report their position from the on-duty phone.

  • Reports and evidence

Crews write the incident report and attach photos on scene. They upload when signal returns.

Web admin console

A control room in the browser.

Everything your operation runs on, in one place. Each organization gets its own branded console address, and every staff member sees only what their role allows.

SOS and tracking

Alerts arrive with the caller's live location, audio, guardians and history. Track units live from vehicle trackers such as Wialon or from responder phones, dispatch the nearest one and watch every SLA timer.

Third-party partner integrations

Hand an incident to a service partner, such as an ambulance network, when it falls outside what your teams cover. The partner receives the caller's latest location and its status flows back to your console.

Control centres and zones

Organize your operation into control centres and draw response zones on the map, so each alert lands with the team that covers it.

Billing

Packages, individual and corporate clients, subscriptions, invoices, receipts, settlements and reconciliation. Customers pay by mobile money, card or bank transfer, with VAT set for each country.

Administration

Manage users, roles and permissions so operators, billing staff, partnership managers and responders each see what their job needs and nothing else.

Support and feedback

Customer tickets with SLA monitoring, ratings and feedback, and sync with helpdesks such as Zammad and Freshdesk.

Analytics in every module

Each area of the console has its own dashboard.

Collaboration network

Wider coverage through shared response.

No single provider covers every street, every service or every country. On Upesy, organizations respond for each other. A security company can bring in an ambulance service, and a provider in Nairobi can hand over to a partner in Kampala.

  • Partner dispatchSend an incident to a partner in one step and follow its status from your console.
  • Live location for the responderThe partner that takes the job sees the caller's newest position, not a stale address.
  • Memberships checked up frontPartners can confirm that a caller is covered before they roll.

Pricing

We earn when you earn.

Upesy works on a revenue share. Each month you pay a share of what your app brings in, and the share per customer falls as you grow. A platform fee sets the minimum for quieter months.

  • Your branded customer app on Android and iOS
  • The responder app for your field teams
  • The web admin console for your control room
  • Hosting, monitoring and platform updates
  • Access to the Upesy partner network

About us

A lean team with a big job.

Upesy World is a lean team of talented people working to clear the bottlenecks in emergency response. We are based in Nairobi, and our platform serves customers in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania today, with Zambia, South Africa, Nigeria and Ghana next.

Our vision is a safer world. We get there by helping private, government and humanitarian responders work as one network, so help is easier to reach, better coordinated and quicker to arrive. We build the technology. Our partners bring the people, vehicles and know-how on the ground.

Upesi is Swahili for "quickly". It's the standard we build to.

  • 3Countries live: Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania
  • 4Markets next: Zambia, South Africa, Nigeria and Ghana
  • 4Response types: security, ambulance, roadside and fire
  • 3Products on one platform: customer app, responder app and console
Innovate

We build what responders and the people they protect actually need, from safety timers and live journeys to an app made for the crew in the vehicle.

Integrate

We connect providers, trackers, payment networks and partner services, so nobody responds alone.

Elevate

We raise the standard of response with measured SLAs, clear analytics and tools that make every team faster.

Questions

What partners ask us first.

Can the app carry our own brand?

Yes. Your customers download your app, under your name, logo and colours, from Google Play and the App Store. Upesy stays in the background.

Do we have to replace our trackers or call centre?

No. The console reads positions from vehicle tracking platforms such as Wialon, and our APIs connect call centres and alarm monitoring. Units without trackers report through the responder app.

How do our customers pay?

By mobile money (M-PESA, Airtel Money, MTN MoMo and others), credit or debit card, or bank transfer. Individual customers pay in the app, corporate clients receive invoices, and VAT is applied per country.

What if a customer is outside our coverage?

The network can pass the incident to a partner who covers that area or service, such as an ambulance provider, and you follow progress from your console.

Which countries do you cover?

Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania today. Zambia, South Africa, Nigeria and Ghana are next. Tell us where you operate and we'll plan with you.

Who can see our data?

Each organization sees only its own customers, incidents and billing. Inside your organization, access follows the roles and permissions you set.
